Our Materials

Built to feel good in your hands.

Every Puzzle and Pine puzzle is made from premium chipboard, a dense and rigid material that gives each piece real weight and a satisfying click when it fits into place.

The surface is finished with a high-gloss coating that makes colors vivid, sharp, and true to the original image. No warping. No puzzle dust. No pieces that bend or pop apart mid-assembly. Just a clean, consistent experience from the first piece to the last.

The box is part of the experience.

Every puzzle ships in a collectible white metal tin box with the finished image printed on the lid. It is the kind of packaging that makes an impression before it is even opened. Sturdy enough to keep and display.

Beautiful enough to give as a gift without wrapping it. Once the puzzle is complete, the tin becomes the perfect place to store it, frame it, or pass it on. We chose the tin box because we wanted the experience to start at the door, not at the table.

Missing a Piece?

  • Our puzzles are made from premium chipboard, a dense and rigid material that gives each piece real weight and a firm, satisfying fit. We do not call it wood because it is not. We prefer honesty over a better-sounding description.

  • Every puzzle features a high-gloss finish that makes colors vibrant, sharp, and accurate to the original image. The coating
also protects the surface from moisture and handling over time.

  • No. The chipboard we use is rigid and stable. Pieces hold their shape through long puzzle sessions and do not bend or deform under normal handling conditions.

  • No. Our pieces are cleanly cut and finished. You will not find the cardboard dust that is common with lower-quality puzzles.

  • The tin box is made from white metal with the finished puzzle image printed directly on the lid. It is sturdy, reusable, and designed to be kept long after the puzzle is complete.

  • The tin box is fully reusable and recyclable. We encourage you to keep it, repurpose it, or recycle it through your local metal recycling program.
